UX/UI Designer Role
About Avani Miriyala Strategy + Design:
We’re small but mighty team of UX / Product Designers who work with everyone from innovative cryptocurrency apps to thriving online influencers with web products. We focus on consumer-facing tech products and specialize in 3 main areas: cultivating deep user empathy, poking holes in existing user experiences, and crafting products from the ground up. We take fuzzy ideas and bring them to life. Literally.
We also value freedom and radical responsibility like no other. We’re 100% remote (we love to travel and #WorkFromAnywhere). However, you’re welcome to visit our downtown Austin office anytime! We also meet up several times a year to jam together and have some fun.
Who You Are
You are an A-Player. You’re incessantly curious and love getting things done. You cringe when you see buttons misaligned on screens or Comic Sans. Your heart and mind are constantly looking out for your products’ users. If you’re presented with something new / unfamiliar, you dive into problem-solving mode fearlessly. You are thoughtful, empathetic, and full of heart.
What You’ll Own
You’ll wear lots of hats + learn about several different businesses, platforms, and industries all at once. There’s always something new and exciting to be working on.
You’ll get your feet wet in multiple areas of product design, UX design, and visual design. Creating app designs, developing UI styles, presenting your work, sharing design feedback, and designing landing pages are a few of the things you might do in your first week.
Someone who excels in this role will become a key stakeholder in Avani Miriyala Strategy + Design with the ability to inform strategy, select their projects, and lead client communications.
We need someone who is excited to add value to amazing clients, learn a lot, work hard, and have fun. This person is willing to try on different roles, do what it takes, and switch gears quickly.
